Ha Long Bay
A 2 day side trip from Hanoi. Two nights hotel on Cat Ba Island and then cruising round Ha Long Bay on a Chinese Junk with an American who was really funny and entertaining. He was in the US Navy during the Vietnam War but did not see much combat as he was Lighthouse Keeper in San Diego Harbor.
And Top Gear should know that I did it first!
