My recent visit to Richmond Park and the Isabella Plantation.
The weather was poor as it has been most of this year so I was perhaps a week or two early for the azalea and rhododendron show.
They are re-vamping the lake for wheelchair access which is all very fine and laudable but also seems to have spoiled the overall impression of the area. Maybe after a year and it has all had time to bed in and meld it will be OK again.
